We did it, I did it, I got the minifurball! It's sitting in my lap as I type this! I am so soooo excited and happy! I lured it in with catnip flavored treats! It was scared at first and tried to get back out but I held it for a little while , and have been petting it while I work, and it is content, for now. It is still scared shitless of Steve, lol, Steve has to talk all quiet so it does spook, lmao! I think it's just cause Steve is so big and has such a loud voice. I think once he sits with the cat and does what I did, it won't be scared of him anymore. It just takes time, he is a wild kitten like his mama was, he just needs time to adjust. I don't know if it will stay like mama did, but I am glad I tried at least. I will post a picture and video after work, it looks just like her! (RIP mama, we are taking care of your baby now.)

Also, we named it junior. Because it looks just like her, and because Junior, is a boy!

Thanks! I was just so excited I had to share! It is not scared of Steve now. Steve gave it some treats and petted it, now Junior is cool with him.

Xpy, that's the great things about a cat, they are so self sufficient. They can be there and hang when you want, and they can do their own thing. If you wanna go out of town for a week, just leave out extra food and water, and it will be fine! Cats are so easy, and so low maintenance it's awesome. A cat is very therapeutic to me, and require little from me, so it's a win win the way I see.

Kittens socialize between the ages of 8 weeks and 6 months. Whatever you subject the kitty to in that time period will determine what kind of cat u have. Try to pay as much attention to it as you can and it will be a cooler cat in the long run. Congrats.

I've been talking to it and petting it all day. He loves to be petted. Quincy, I think Junior is about 6-9 months old, give or take. The best guess I can make, I think we took mama in around August of last year, and she had her first litter that fall I think, which is the one Junior is from, because I remember there were two minifurballs, and then just him, they died off through out the winter (sad I know) I remember thinking he might blow away in that hurricane or whatever it was we had, and that wasn't too long ago.
