Arch,

Did big Al want a traditional ceremony/reception at any point?
Did she regret not having one at all?
How many peeps attended each leg?
Was anyone "offended" that you broke it up like that?
Did you still register for gifts?
Did you still get some gifts?

Thanks pal.

No, she pretty much always wanted to do something different, not boring, and not stuffy. A destination wedding of some sort.

Did she regret not having one at all?

it turned out better than we expected

How many peeps attended each leg?

32 for the ceremony 26 stayed for the week at the resort... a bit under 200, we had just enough seats/tables under our big tent...

Was anyone "offended" that you broke it up like that?
don't know don't care

Did you still register for gifts?

yep, we went fancy -target

Did you still get some gifts?

at the reception/party/carnival in Ohio that we held after our honeymoon. we got a gift from 90% of our guests. Just NOT one of my "best" men

I'll try to share more and maybe some pics when I get home....

but yeah to sum it all up I just can't imagine a "reception celebration without a dunking booth now...

good luck, and i'll be on standbye to answer any and all questions going forward...

Archie, was she a good bride, or bridezilla?
I find myself talking about it at least once a day, trying to initiate plans and get his input.

not at all bridezilla. She literally did at least 25% of the planning, budgeting, invite stuff on the car ride from Pittsburgh to Chicago after we got engaged on the beach the previous august of 2010.....

the rest was here and there stuff.

We hired a wedding planner down in NC to take care of everything down there. Flew down to Ocean Isle to check the place out in Feb 2011 for a 3 day weekend and meet with all the vendors ect. and the rest was just sorta like... "hey you wanna have vows?, well let's wait and see how we feel that morning... ect...

super laidback

See that's cool.
Yeah I told Steves we need to hire a wedding planner mostly b/c of our work schedule's. I don't have time to handle much of it,
even though I would like to. I figure between my moh and a planner, it should be fairly stress-less.
