Sorry Stevie i didn't see this earlier! Gave up on them awhile ago! Went to work and rooted against them the little I got to listen to it! Reid and the whole regime must go but ownership is just as stubborn and unless Reid goes to another team they're on the hook for 2 more years contract!

The T.O. situation has reincarnated as the Desean Jackson problem! Told my son before the year started Desean needs to be given as least an olive branch or it will not end well! Guy kept his mouth shut longer than I thought he would but now the cat is out of the bag!

The national media and most of the die hard Eagles loyalists loathe the guy at the moment but I'm in Jackson's corner! Seen Eagles management moves up close over the years and they always like to hammer it to players instead of a win-win scenario!

We give a crippled Steve Smith 4 million for 9 game appearances and 11 total catches! Unreal! Jackson's contract, look it up is 4 years and for 3.058 million total and 555K of it 2011's salary! WTF! Would it have made better sense to give DJ the 4 million instead of signing not needed Smith as the olive branch?

I remember the T.O. thing as clear as day and everybody sees the at his house workout antics and stuff but the guy only wanted a million or so more for the upcoming year and the Eagles played hardball! The guy came back to play in the Super Bowl when every doctor said he shouldn't and was the the MAN as much as he could be! Might have been his last game ever if injured! Oh by the way the Birds had their last losing season of 6-10 that year after the T.O. summer of no-love!

Yes, T.O. and Desean might act like 1st graders but the Eagles should know this! They learned nothing in 2005! How can you expect Jackson to give his all when he knows if he performs well you will only franchise him! Yes the 8-10-12?? million sounds good for a year but no player wants those deals!

Why can't the Eagles just tell you like the good, successful organizations like the Pats, Steelers, tell you to play well in your last year of the contract and if we can we will sign you but if not then another team will give you big bucks! No, the word is the Eagles were going to put the tag on Desean just for the purpose of trading him to get some kind of draft pick in return!

Well who knows what happens now? Maybe the Birds try suspending him but whats that do now! Saves you say 139K! Desean don't care probably cause he put the hammer down on not getting franchised for sure now! How do you bring him back for 2012?

Well the saying goes you only "need one team to sign a player" and IMO Drew R. will find that one team for Jackson if he hasn't found them already!
