Yes, only because I blew out a tire and ended up in ditch on a drive from Denver to Sodak a few years ago. Didn't realize til later that it really jacked up the mechanical/lights and I have been driving around with 1 headlight for some time. I never drive at night though. And I don't drive enough to warrant having it fixed even.

I agree with Matty though, if it's bad enough that turning them off improves visibility, avoid driving at all if possible.

Those should work. Yellow increases contrast and makes everything "pop out". I have a yellow visor on a motorcycle helmet and it works espcially well on overcast days.

That is very shiny and reflective from my POV. Reno, when you say mountainous roads, do you mean where the side of the road is only a guardrail protecting you from tumbling down 20 feet? If so I wouldn't be driving that shit at night, or in the winter period. personally.

Those were some giant fluffy white flakes last night, and lots of them. That had to be shitty driving.

Yes, I've done that. Probably illegal, but do what ya gotta do to stay on the road. Make sure the running lights are on.

running lights? wtf? I don't think I have those. Mr.x you should try this if ever in snow storm, even coming from Black Hawk. You've noticed how turning brights on when its snowing makes visibility worse? same thing
