This doesn't really suprise me. The longer I live here the more I realize how stupid the people of this country actually are. It's quite sad. There is a sense of entitlement that sweeps the nation and is unwarrented.

the articles stating that because there is a 200k spike in bankruptcy filings after tax refunds are received historically (fail on no link to the actual study) that 200k to 1 million people will use tax refunds to file for bankruptcy this year which DRUMROLLLLL means they are too broke to do it before the tax refund idk tho i think thats some sort of fallacy. I'm guessing they bumped it up to 1 million for shock value and because of increase in fees due to whatever congress changed because that was clearly an intelligent way to lower bankruptcy #'s rather than fix the root of the fucking problem but wait if the cost of bankruptcy changed years ago shouldnt that be in the historical data?

the logic is making my head spin sweet country sweet reporting gotta be the fault of unwarranted entitlement the powerless people possess.
 
Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 protect attorneys fees as a primary and non-discargable debt. I know lots of lawyers that forgo immediate payment because they are protected. Indeed many unscrupulous ones even front the filing fees in return for inflated non-dischargable attorneys fees.
 
Nothing is free. Tuition in Quebec is directly funded by the tax payers in Alberta. If Quebec was a sovereign nation it would have the 4th highest debt to GDP ratio in the world behind Greece, Portugal, Ireland and Spain.

Quebec is actually a drain on the Canadian economy as a whole.

Quebec is essentially a failed welfare-state being propped up by the rest of Canada for no good reason. Just think of Germany propping up Greece. Just think of Greek voters electing a Socialist anti austerity government. It's the same sort of head-in-the-sand reality that will eventually sink Quebec.
