Seriously, are frenchies forced to take english classes starting in elementary? I'm really curious. I was forced to start learning french in grade 3.

Yes. We started English in grade 3 too. These days they start in grade 1 (which is a good thing.)

English education was horrible when I was in elementary - learned to read/write it myself once I started buying Guitar World magazines around the age of 14.

Still learning how to speak it.

Interesting Matty. I honestly didn't know that frenchies were forced to take an english course in elementary school. I remember they drove Je Tu, Il, Elle and Nous, Vouse Illes Elles. or something like that in us. And that silly La tete les shoudlder song. I was actually quite good with speakign/reading and wright french, but that was well over 25 years ago.
