so far snow comin down, almost got caught in it last night driving, just got home in time. Boys you do NOT want to only see white on the road when your tires are past due for a change.

Mother Nature when does menstruation end? We thought you were done with all that. Starting to think you're just a cunt.

I'd be completely embarrassed to take my snow blower out for 8" of snow. The entire neighbourhood would think I was completely nuts if I broke out the snow blower with 8" on the ground. I would say 16" would be ok to take it out. 8" is just being completely lazy. Like my chinese neighbours lazy, but then again he'd be too lazy to even start the damn thing even if he had one. The guy lacks common sense. The other day there was maybe 3" of snow on the ground from a light overnight dusting. The temperatures were rising. Rising enough that ALL of the snow from the overnight dusting would melt. That dumb fucker was out there shoveling his driveway. I don't get the guy. I really don't. He'll wait over 24 hours to go out and do his own driveway after the snow compacts and turns dead heavy from the moisture in the air.

Some people just don't get it.

I would say it depends on how big your driveway was. I will happily take out the snowblower for 8" of snow at my cabin because it takes me over an hour (sometimes 2) to manually shovel that shit. Truthfully though sometimes I will just drive thru it until it gets deep enough to be a problem for my snow tires.
 
:lol: Puckie is extreme and he knows it. He deals with snow taller than his neighbor on a regular basis. Fuck if I had a snow blower I'd be using it in 4 inches and I wouldn't be ashamed to say it.

I'm just trying to get my truck out of the fokkin driveway, mang.

Not really. 12" maybe by the time the snowplow went by, but I'd just break out the big scoop for that and get the boys to do the driveway (sides of the car). My walkway is about 20" and would take 2 minutes to do with the scoop. You could use a damn broom for 8" of snow. Or just throw salt down.

That's exactly what I do with 8" of snow, Mr. Q. I thne get the boys to "tidy" up the driveway and then they would move on to the walkway. I would use the scoop on the rink though.

I always chuckle when I see someone driving in the snow with an SUV or a big truck and no snow tires...

I hope they soon make it law to have snow tires on in the winter in Ontario. It would not bother me in the least.
