Looking back on March Madness, both teams gave us quite a show in last night's championship game! Some of those made shots were unreal! Got maybe too physical both ways but don't want best players not in game at end!
Coach Bellein said afterward he didn't know they only had 5 team fouls with less than a minute to go! If he did, he would have fouled earlier without letting 13 seconds tick off the clock!
Watching whole game, what I saw which IMO was a mistake too was probably playing Spike Albrecht too many minutes in the 2nd half! Guy went off in 1st half with 17 points while he averaged 8 minutes and less than 2 points a game (mostly in blowouts) during the year! Would have been thankful for his contribution and moved on!
Appeared to be a liability on defense and had a couple key TOs with 0 points in 2nd half! Went to statsheet.com and guy -13 (most on Michigan) in +- category for points scored difference by teams while in game! Spike was great but was placed in a tough situation!
