I missed a huge window of opportunity with Baylor and have allowed the line to climb all the way up to -10.5 at least at my book. I like them still but not sure if I will do anything more than a small wager on them.

FSU is or has been so up and down this year. While I don't think Notre Dame can compete if FSU shows up to actually play this game I can't risk which team is on the field. If I had to play this game I would probably take the Irish.

Notre Dame/ Florida State OVER 46.5 -110: If you look at the regular season numbers you would be hard pressed to take the OVER in this game. Neither team has lit it up this year on any consistent basis. Looking at their December scoring patterns however, and you get a completely different animal. Notre Dame OVER is 5-0 in the last 5 December games. Florida State OVER is 5-1 in their last 6 games in December and 5-2 in the last 7 bowl games. When Notre Dame is a slight underdog, the OVER has been covering as of late. The OVER is 5-1 in games Notre Dame is a 0.5-3.0 point underdog. Neutral site games have been beneficial to the OVER when Florida State is playing. The OVER is 8-3 in the last 11.


Baylor -9.5 -110: Tough to lay 9.5 points in any bowl game, but here are a couple of trends that have us backing Baylor. Baylor is 4-1 ATS and 6-2 as a 3.0-10 point favorite in their last 8. Baylor QB Griffin is getting better every game and the bigger the stage, the better he is. The key is Baylor's run defense. If they can stop the run to an extent, they will cover this high spread. We are fans of the elite QB versus the elite RB match up. Let Washington rely heavily on Polk for the majority of the game and watch him lose steam in the 4th quarter. Watch Baylor take this game over in the 4th and win by 17.

Never understood why people take the spread at Bowl games. What's wrong with Baylor ML -340? Why sweat the spread Wally? I'm up 2 grand at Bowl Games betting strictly ML's. So far only one dog won outright with a 52 yard FG as time expired.

Not gonna tell a lie, I turned the game off and went to bed pissed and pouting. Didn't even know they pulled it out and even covered till this morning.
