Not a lot of peen, but sculptures? Dude. I finally understand why Italian expats cover their front lawns in marble sculptures. However over-the-top you think those looks like, it doesn't even begin to compare to the stuff here. The Trevi fountain is absolutely ridiculous.

Descending went faster 🙃 But even there, it was my first time descending tight, steep switchbacks so I was not super brave. I rode the brakes pretty much all the way down.


Makes you appreciate the speed pros ride at. I'm a decently trained-but-overweight amateur cyclist - pros go twice as fast as I did. Pogacar even faster - he climbed Madonna del Ghisallo in 20 mins flat. Incredible.

I went to buy a 5 EUR Ghisallo bracelet at the museum but the nice girl at the front desk gifted it to me. 🥳 I was the only visitor there yesterday, the whole staff was visibly happy to see me, lol.

It's still the low season here. I passed two cyclists during the whole ride, and I wasn't passed by anyone. Wasn't even cold or anything. Wimps.
