Just got out of the hospital.

I've had mild abdominal pain for 5 days now. It is like a shooting pain on my right side that travels from my waist to my scrotum. They ran a bunch of tests: xray, catscan, ultrasound, blood, and urine. They didn't find anything. The doctor said it appears there MAY be some inflammation. $8000 later, I get two prescriptions. Lortab and Doxycycline. I have no health insurance so I think they'll give me a break on the price when I get the bill though. Sweet.

They told me that I can get up to a 77% price reduction when they told me how much it would be.

Very true, but most have accessibility of $150 a month, most dont hold onto 8,000 and if they did they wouldnt want to fork it out at 1 time. I hear you thought, insurance is a scam and they charge you triple what you'll use but for people that have had 200k+ surgeries its worth every penny.
