Not riding but maybe misunderstanding. In what respect would they be tying those Habs?

i.e. - a current-day winning streak including, say, 2 O/T and 2 shootout victories cannot be compared to a streak from before such provisions existed.

i.e. - in the conditions under which any of those old Habs records were set, they would have simply had a tie and a win streak could not continue. Win streak meant regulation win period.

But maybe you are talking about some other kind of deal they are tying?

I dont know how they do it. Their record has been impressive, but I don't see any of their games. They don't have offensive names that stick out to me. Are they one of those muck up the game/ defensive trap type of teams?
Always kinda liked the foul mouthed Boudreau from his days in Washington though

I was wondering the same thing. Ducks do have a heck of a team though.

Perry and Getzlaf are the definition of offensive names, comrade.

Also they got a lot of talented muckers ie Bonino, Cogliano, Palmieri, Penner, Silfverberg etc
