I have always said that when I die, I wish to be buried in the ground but without a casket. It's illegal but that is my notion. The reason being that I have been taking from the earth my whole life and now that I'm dead, all the nutrients and shit in me might as well go back to the earth and not go to waste.

Letting vultures have me is an acceptable alternative.

The average person in the US consumes about a ton of food every year (2000 pounds). A semi-truck can tow about 40 tons of cargo in its containers. So depending on the type of food you ate and how much volume does it take to store you could easily fill a football field.
