in oksy's world, after you haven't been resident in a country for however long (maybe 4 or 5 years), you can't vote, even if you're a citizen

very easy for me to pick the rock star or the greenie snorting sprouts when i know they won't be my leader any time soon. voting should be reserved for those who are resigned to live with these leaders

in willie world, voting is an absolute requirement. it's not a right, it's not a privilege, it's your civic duty. and yes, to get your voter's registration card you will have to pass a competency test. simple stuff like basic geography, knowing who your reps and senators are, knowing the difference between capitalism, socialism, fascism and communism, being able to read basic english and calculate basic math. without a voter's registration card, your annual income taxes will be 10% higher, so there is indeed some incentive to staying in touch with that the fuck is going on.
 
Voting is relevant when your vote counts. Like when you are voting for class president and the voters pool is 30 people. Now if you are voting in a pool of 1 million votes and the candidate who gets the most votes gets all the votes for the state your vote is a waste of time.

5ver hates him because he doesn't respect women. I hate him because he wants to return the monetary system to a gold standard (REALLY?!?!). We all have our rreasons. Most of them good to very good. I think he's the one GOP candidate I wouldn't toe the party line for.
 
the country is 800 lbs overweight because we eat mcdonalds 4 meals a day and doctors are telling us to lose weight or die and ron paul is the only one offering a diet and excercise plan. the rest are saying you can still have mcdonalds just eat a salad one of the 4 meals. its so obvious none of their shit will work but everyone is voting for the salad option because some of ron pauls methods involve cutting out all mcdonalds meals.

he is proposing 1 TRILLION in cuts in his FIRST year. he actually has plans on HOW to fix the economy not just the same old bull shit we hear every year.
