oh well... only like 20 people traveled to NC... it was just for close family, but we paid for their week stay at a top notch golf resort on the beach for 6 nights

but no, we are only at like 75 days. Put down aug 12 Shannon kaddo day as Archie's anniversary too...

we did have a ton of people travel to middle of nowhere Ohio the following weekend, I would feel bad for some of them....

I know the example is just a reality star. But what if lets say this is someone you know. And lets say next year he/she invites you to his/her new wedding. What would you do? Send a gift through the mail and don't attend? Would this be considered rude?

Last two weddings I attended, that wouldn't have been an issue - my friends are hippies and ask that no gifts be made. They just wanted to party with whoever actually wanted to be there.

Make some hippie friends is my recommendation.

Pavy, sending a gift through the mail and not attending to me is not rude!

Bottom line is the couple make out better when the financial return (+ or -) on the wedding investment is calculated!

Mailed Gift - Cost of say 2 persons at Reception = Greater Profit or Lesser Loss

word!

and its not rude to not go.... sometimes you really just can't go.... after college it seemed like 33% of the weddings I went to, there was another wedding I could have attended that same day.

Pavy, MrM.... in the spirit of the thread could you guys post some wedding pics?

one time common!!!!
