first she pissed on the carpet which she has not done in 6 months (shes a year old in october) then i crated her when the wife and i ran up the street for 30 minutes and she pissed a gallon in her crate (when she coulda gone outside before we left). ive never made her sleep outside but im super pissed off at her. will she be ok?

she is just a spoiled ass dog thats what i think

everytime i try to do a harsh punishment like beat the shit out of her or crate her for a long time my wife tells me thats long enough she doesnt even remember what she did wrong.

ya bull shit.

On a more serious note, take her to where she peed and squirt some lemon juice in her mouth. This shouldn't take more than 2 times. It doesn't hurt her but she will associate the taste and not do it.

oh shit.... I had this all wrong. NOW it makese sense...

I used to take my dog in Pa to where he peed and squirt LEMON juice in MY mouth. I never did understand how that was gonna work, but I tried anyways...

after a few months, I changed into taking Rocky to where he Peed, and doing shots of Citrus Vodka...

that seemed to work, I wasn't as mad when Rocky Pissed on the floor after that

NO you must take her to the vet. if this is really out of the norm then she could have a bladder infection. most dogs will not pee in their crates, b/c they know they can't get away from it and its their special space... so if she piddled in there you really should take her to the vet. that is what a responsible pet owner would do.

i never said anything about piddling. and i left her outside last night. ive heard that dogs dont like the pee their kennel but its not all that out of the ordinary for her. the carpet is totally different but the crate is not uncommon just was A LOT more than normal and she was not in there for very long. ill keep an eye on her and if the behavior continues assume she is sick. i dont think two accidents warrants suspicion enough to take her to the vet yet but ill keep that in mind
