This is too important for Random thoughts. This may change lives.

It pertains to when you buy a coffee to-go at a coffee shop that uses those lids where you can bend up a little section and make an opening to drink from. Okay here's the deal:

I often see people bending up that little tab and ripping it off. Or oftentimes the lid is made so you can fold the tab back and it will clip to the top of the lid.

That's not what you want to do.

What you want to do is take that tab and push it back down inside the opening. It helps prevent/regulate spillage of the hot liquid. You might think it would also hinder your drinking experience but it does not. You can still drink the coffee just the same.

Thanks for the tip Muddy,

I will remember that if I ever need it. When I get a tea (I don't drink coffee) I bring my own mug and get a discount and be environmentally friendly.

If I ever need that advice I will keep it in mind.

I am drinking a lot of coffee today.

My normal pattern in recent months has been three cups per morning - but then last week with this new job, it has just been 2 cups. We aren't supposed to drink coffee at our work stations so I just have the 2 cups that I can fit in before I get started. But that's fine. I have had no issue with it. Didn't give it any thought at all.

I would have assumed I would probably just carry on with the 2 cups today but I have had about 6. Before the job, my coffee drinking was all done by no later than 10:30 am. But I have just got myself another coffee and am drinking it RIGHT NOW.

It's like there is a big coffee drinking jailbreak going on here.
