Working for Madonna was pleasantly fun.

Bill Murray was amazing.

My favorite though was Jason Varitek. He was really down to earth and made it a point to talk to me for a lengthy period of time.

I acted like a teenage schoolgirl.

Gave Chevy Chase directions once. He was as big of a dick as people say.

Worked as a clerk at a convenience store and Mike Meyers came in and bought a pack of chicklets and a pack of fruit striped gum.

When I was 14 the restaurant I worked at stayed open exclusively for jim kelly and he came into the kitchen to thank us all. His hand was like 3/4 times bigger than mine. Probably my favorite encounter.

Have had more interaction with classical celebs than I can count, Seiji Ozowa, James Conlon, John Williams, Yo Yo Ma, Emanuel Ax, Itzhak, Peter Serkin, James Galway. Hah. Classical celebs.

I guess the most memorable encounters were with French writers you've never heard of, in university.

I sat right next to Minnesota North Star Enrico Ciccone (9 career NHL goals) for a whole dinner when I was 12 or 13. I knew he was going to be there so I had brought his current Upper Deck card for him to sign. He was genuinely shocked that someone would ask for his autograph. :biglaugh:

Exchanged a few kind words with Mike Tyson. I treated him like a regular dude and I think he appreciated that. Basically I said in a lad back tone, hey mike how are you doing man and he shrugged his shoulders and looked me in the eye and said I'm fine man, thank you for asking. It was about a year after his daughter died.

Chatted with Jeremy Roenick at a bar here for about 45 mins. Just myself and a friend for a bit who played pro hockey, Roenick and his wife. Eric Lindross was about 15' away and there were hoards of people around him and no one even knew who Roenick was or at least didn't recognize him. I was 23 and I think he was the same age. For a Yank (ok relax my Yank friends) he was very nice and was actually happy that I chatted with him for a while. I bought him a beer and he then bought me one. He was very friendly. Mike Keenan was his coach and I remember asking him what Keenan was like and he was like oh man he is hard to deal with yadda, yadda.

I was in England on business and decided to go to a Canadian bar and one TML player was there and his friend who was in I think Minnesots'a farm system. The TML player was Matt Stajan and was a big dick with attitude so I ended up giving some attitude back and he then actually settled down a little.

Ran into Pat Quinn (former TML coach and gold medal winning coach) in the airport and he stopped and chatted with me for a couple mins. He was very nice as was his wife.

Ran into a few more dudes...........Tom Sellick, Iron Maiden, RJ.

Beach volleyball players you've never heard of. They signed my volleyball and were nice dudes, it was cool. Met Gary Hart when I was really little, in Boston. He had just gotten clobbered in the NJ polls and he asked where I was from. I said Jersey and he became visibly uninterested in speaking to me. Twas funny according to the folks, I was too little to realize what was going down. Damn that was 84. :oldballs:

I have never asked for an autograph nor will I.

In the late 90`s Mike Tyson was working out at my gym in preparation for a fight. One day I was walking toward the front entrance and a he was about 15 feet in front of me. You know what. He held the door open for me. I was like, hmmm, swell guy that Mike Tyson.

I met Sam Snead, Jack.Nicklaus and Matt Kutcher (before he turned pro).

I had AJ Burnett`s cell phone number around 2000-2001. Met him several times. Very down to earth guy. Craig Counsel also. Cool guy. Short and most ripped calves I've ever seen.

I had a 30 min conversation with the female lead singer of Sixpence None The Richer in 1997-8 before they hit it big on radio. Very sweet woman.

I met Brian Warner (Marilyn Manson) on several occasions in the early-mid 90`s. Hugh pompous mega narcissist.

That's all I can remember.
