Not a fan but he does ask some ballsy questions sometimes.

Generally speaking most Jew broadcasters are annoying and hard to watch for more than a few minutes at a time.

Back in the early 80's plommer was a volunteer cameraman at mhtv10 in etobicoke and often worked with Gino Reda covering high school girls volleyball.

Appears the guy has come a long way! Plommer, love coffee too much so if you ever want to surprise me on Christmas, get one of these! Quit a flavor savor that guy had!

Guy is big in China! Appears China >>> Canada!

The thing about Off The Record is it comes on right before PTI, which I like to watch while eating dinner. So many times I have flipped on the TV while preparing dinner, to the channel I am going to want, and that leaves me with OTR in the background.

Big mistake. Seems like half the time he is talking to Gary Payton trying to be funny - who has become just about the biggest most embarrassing tool in sports. The other half it's just some kind of smarmy shit.

Oh well. I finally learned and don't do that any more. Landsberg wasn't even bad at the Vancouver Olympics, I thought. But that show. Ugh!

I guess that's probably a national show, isn't it? Not really a Toronto question.

Here's a Toronto question: what do you think of the morning radio guys on 590, Brady and Lang?

No, I'm with you. I really like McCown. There are two sports radio stations now but I go straight to McCown for my drive home. There is no decision to be made.

On an aside, Elliott Freidmann (sp?) was filling in for McCown this week and I thought he was very good. Very promising.

They have often used Jeff Blair. I am not so much a fan. Of course these things depend on the guests and co-hosts but overall, when Blair is on, my preference shifts to 58.3% in favor of 1050.

John Shannon is another sometimes replacement. So vanilla. Similar approval rating to Blair. Low 40's.

I used to watch Off The Record all the time when I was a kid. He always seemed to interview too many wrestlers though.

But it was cool seeing a panel of, say, Ric Flair, Jeremy Roenick and Pat Borders talk about sports. Where else would you see something like that.

Michael Landsberg was great when he was on TSN Sportsdesk.

I am not arguing with you. It is a matter of opinion and taste. People are entertained by different things. But where you use the word cool to describe such a panel, I would probably use a word more like getridofthetwopointlessrockheadsandjusttalktoRoenick.
