they've been bluffing for a while, in the hopes I'm guessing, to have some in NK stage a coup. I think those in charge here realize that a military attack on Korea without a coup would lead to unacceptable consequences, such as the beginning of the unraveling of America's empire. ...Best to keep quiet and pretend nothing happened.
