worst coaching effort i have ever witnessed in a championship series....it isnt even close

son, when battier or miller are in the game, they are in the game for 1 reason...to shoot 3s...and its been this way all year (last few years with miller)... yet your players insist on letting them shoot every time they touch it...and have done it the entire series to fucking bury them...personally, im glad, as i make out pretty good for the series... honestly, you have no business being at the helm of a contending team (nor does spoelstra fwiw)...you are another coach with extraordinary talent playing that makes you look good... a good coach would sit the assholes that give the designated 3 point shooters all the free shots and scream at them the entire time they are there...

you and your staff helped bury this team
:fischy:

no doubt...no argument there... but you gotta guard shooters when they are hot... and neither of those 2 are fast enough anymore to go around anyone...but i do see what you are saying...the guy still looked completely lost coaching out there....

Yeah i'd take my chances with Miller and Battier like MF said..... if they beat you, then you just tip your hat to them....

you gotta lock down on the big 2. Those are the top two priorities, and if you deviate from that plan because two palookas got hot, then you are really dumb...

no problem with that...but you still have to guard them...at least a hand in the face...so many uncontested shots that they buried the entire series...im sure he bitched about it a little and the lazy players shrugged it off...that happens too

gotcha...

keen insight

Ray, for what its worth, if two failed athaletes like daft and myself were gonna face off in a 5 on 5 game composed of GL posters that we drafted. When we took turns to pick 12 guys each to play. I'd look to take you somewhere in the 16-18th round with the sole intention of you just coaching the other 11 of us. I think I'd get you after Plommer but before Nina....

Ray, what are you? 5'9 or so? you are as tall as Blitty I thought....

Ray I've worked on my short game 6 days in a row, from 30-90 mins

its the first time i've ever done that. I think when I hit a real course for 18 again in a few weeks. I'll have gone from a 100-110 golfer to a 95-100 golfer.

I'm then gonna lean on Wally and You to get me down to under 85 by 2013?

if you can do that, i'll teach ya how to get the basketball in the hoop from the free throw line, rick barry/granny style...

oh wow...i think you made a video of that and, like many others, i think i broke youtube hitting the playback button:yes: ... yeah, you can squander a fuckload of shots from 100yds in, for sure...drives in the fairway and making 5 footers make the biggest difference in most peoples games...

and no, im around 5'7ish... vertically challenged all to hell

yeah anything under 100 yards has always been bad for me. I hit the 5 and the 2 iron's really accurate for some reason. But give me a 9 or a wedge and It was a complete crap shoot.

The city park 1 block from me, has 3 par 3 greens. from 125 to 90 yards out. I just take my Pitching wedge, my 1940's autographed putter and a bag of balls and duff all around...

a few days ago I was up early and over there at sun rise and I ran into two white people in the park with cameras.... you never see white people there. So I go ask them what they are taking pictures of. Turns out they are HUGH bird watchers, and from nearby suburb.

a few months prior, the teen age boy made the 2nd most rare bird discovery in North American history, an Elanaeia bird from South America. People flew in from all over the country to see this one damn bird. Turns out they are related to the chick from batman that Alysia resembles. can't remember her name right now....

so yeah

I be golfing

Obviously the comparison can only be made in the most basic of fundamentals but when I coached basketball my main thing on defense was to not get out rebounded and to NEVER get beat inside. Naturally I coached youth and are fully developed from a skillset perspective so it is much less likely that a team could beat you from outside.

I didnt watch the series and only really watched the 3rd period last night but the tempo Miami set and then a couple bad calls (the main one being the intentional foul when LeBron was 1-on-1 for a layup) and one huge non-call (when Harden was sent flying into the bench almost after a 3-point attempt) that went against them seemed to just take all hope away. Sure Miller lit them up from outside but I would take that any day of the week and every game as opposed to allowing someone like LeBron and Wade to demolish me in the paint.

RayRay, I did catch a couple shots of the Thunder coach on the bench and you could tell he was at a loss though. His team was being outgunned and he knew it and also knew there was nothing he could do about it. There was a glimmer of bewilderment in his eyes.

last night was just a beat down...unlike every other game in the series, wal...boston made the same mistakes...i just dont understand not guarding 3pts shooters when they are only in the game just for that...its like a 6' white kid in a college game...he serves 1 purpose unless he plays for duke or some shit :lmao:

archie thats pretty cool...sounds like a good place for you an bigal to go walking and spending quality time together...ya know, for those times when you fuck up and have to suck up and do something fun with her ...take a camera just in case... i keep hummingbird feeders up in the summer...cool little fuckers .. fun to watch
