Will a frenchie separatist derail the former Quebec Nordiques chances of returning to the NHL?

So what happens if Quebec separates? Will they join the Crimean resistance? Will they nationalize industry? Pucky why does this non issue matter so much?

It's not a non-issue. You have to drive through kwabek to get to the rest of Canada. Anyways, the natives in kwabek won't allow this to happen. There will be a civil war if kwabek decided to try to separate.

LOL, the guy is the main reason there are talks about a Nordiques return. He's the main investor in the new arena.

That journalist has a good point though -the "Montreal Canadiens" not being in Canada would be a wee bit absurd.

The separation wouldn't start happening before a referendum won a simple majority. Then it would still need to be negotiated with Canada.
