Plommer is gonna fuck with him and string him along for a bit of a ride merely for my own entertainment.

I have a hard time believing these scams still create victims.

can we get a documented play by play here for our enjoyment

Not much happeneing yet. I told him I'd ship asap if he pays by moneybookers but he insists on paypal, so I jacked the price by $60, quite unreasonable but he agreed, 'cause he has no intentions of actually paying anything.

Soon I will tell him paypal is ok but dark skinned Africans must wait 90 days for payment to clear 'cause their reputation is shit.

If he continues I will just try to be as offensive as I can be, in the past this has been countered with religious references and proclamations of the love of god etc.

You would get along well with my brother. He likes to play games with Russian mail-order womenfolk who spam him and then try to get in his wallet. He will string them along for weeks and then when it finally fizzles out, before I know it, he has started with another.

I thought the drill with this scam was just that Plommer would receive an email from 'PayPal' confirming that the funds had been sent but would not be released until he sends them a copy of the shipping details.
There is more than one way to skin a cat, the Nigerians know all the angles.

The one thing people should already know, dealing with a potential buyer in an African country can only end badly for the seller.

I remember a website was put up where a guy screwed around with one of these scammers for a long time. He somehow got the scammer to pay for the fees to send the box and put a bunch of junk in the box instead of the Mac that was supposed to be in there. . The scammer paid like $500 for international duty fees for a bunch of crap.
