Thought I had a really good card Friday and it was a really bad one in the end. Think I have a decent card today so we will see how this one goes. Not as confident as I was on the Friday card but that is because this one is all TOTALS and I have struggled more with that than sides in baseball even though both have been rough.

I was really looking for a reason to play Pittsburgh but Milwaukee has won 12 straight in this contest. I imagine to some that would be reason enough alone. Then again to others a team that holds that much of an edge and is only -117 might look like a good bargain. I just have to back away and realize that the Pirates pre-All Star break and now are not the same value.

Tampa Bay isn't a terrible play against Detroit especially at +121 but against Verlander I can't trust the urge. He is 2-0 against the Rays this season and while that doesn't mean he is unbeatable it means I'm not in the mood to go against the grain.

If you're not a fan of trending stats or ERA's then you will won't to fade these. Then again you may want to fade them simply because they are posted here period.

Today's Plays:

Detroit/Tampa Bay UNDER 7.5 (-125)
Boston/Texas UNDER 9 (-105)
Arizona/Washington UNDER 8.5 (-105)

Should be noted that I am 0-all on Boston UNDERS.

good luck

yeah I'd stay off the Pirates....if you are into trends

I mean it goes well beyond the 12 in a row

if you go back 4-5 years even, the brewers are still winning about 90% of them i'd guess

its bad enough that the pirates get killed by the Brewers

but pittsburgh fans and players genuinely dislike the brewers players.....the Brew Crew players exploit that

I'm sure the Milwaukee fans LOVE the pirates though

I think we might see a brawl in this series.... there are a few unsettled issues to deal with, and they play 4 times and the pennant chase seems to be over for brewers vs cards

they will complete 4 games in less than 48 hrs

I wish the Pirates still had Eric Kratz
