She's doing a lot better. She had issues before, but the pneumonia got her in the hospital and now they seem to be fixing stuff because she is up and around and knitting and got me to set up her sewing machine. She will do well as long as we keep bringing her healthy food and we don't let her just eat whatever is there. I brought here some Rare/blue BBQ steak today (which she heated up to her liking) and some cold Asian broccoli salad.
Asian Broccoli Salad
Blanche Broccoli Florets (this means put them in boiling water for 2-3 minutes) Place in bowl of ice water to cool. Drain and put in bowl.
Meanwhile, put 2 Tbsp of olive oil in small frying pan and add fresh finely chopped garlic to taste. Simmer the garlic/oil til garlic turns a light brown.
Pour the garlic oil over the broccoli and add a small amount of sesame oil and soya sauce (hot sauce or chili powder to taste)
Fucking delicious
