Kava Root

We had kava in Fiji. I don't really remember it doing much to me other than feeling a bit chilled out but one of the girls I was with ended up passed out cold. Hotel Dr had to treat her because her husband thought she was dead. She did drink a lot of it though. And kato's right - it tastes like ass.

I've had some Kava kava before in capsule form, and I remember the bottle smelling like ass... didn't really notice any effect. less than Melatonin in calmness/sleepiness...

what are you talking about Pavy? that is a healthy weight.... in fact I bet if you look at charts he'd almost be near the "overweight" side... I hate those charts. But 6'4 200 is not Skinny by any means
 
I'm a shade under 5'2" weigh about 230 with about 40% body fat..... why?

Pavy this isn't a dick measuring contest. This is time to teach freefall about a new drug he is going to expose himself to. Make your own thread!

I'd also like to ask as to what index you are refering to when you demand that I'm fat/skinny/short/fat/tall. I can most likely show you the cons/pros with all of them.

Regardless before I go through any of this effort I wanna see you tough guy. Post up a shot Mr. Hot Shot! Otherwise just keep talking the talk and I'll be walking the walk. :surprised:

how much of a dose should I be having if I'm a 6'4" ~200lb male ? Will I be grinding this up? What should I be expecting from my high?

You should probably ask a Polynesian. I didn't even realise you could buy this stuff in the US until kato's post. I really thought it was the Fiji equivalent of Thailand mushie shakes but just less crazy. But really if I'd had to pay for it, I would've felt ripped off. I had a few glasses of it and they were grinding it in a coconut shell before giving it to us. Have no clue what it looks like before then. My friend is about 5'9, 140 and she was knocked on her ass for hours. Seriously out cold and not in a nice sleep way because she was flipping when she finally woke up apparently. But again, she drank a lot. I didn't like the taste even with chasers. I just switched to shots of some tequila they had. Don't go out of your way to try it. After a few glasses I felt the same as if I'd had a few beers and had sat in a hot tub for a couple of hours. Nicely relaxed for a bit and maybe? enhanced my booze buzz a teeny bit but nothing long lasting or even memorable. We were on a work trip and all of us had unlimited access to it that night... some of the guys I'm sure drank just as much as she did if not more and their only comment was about the taste.

Yea I was reading about it on a forum and they had mentioned how it's a reverse tolerence. It's almost the less you have the better as the more you have the less it becomes effective, but I'm just a noob.
