.... I usually just leave the tv on ABC for mom all day. The majority of the programs I/ we watch are on ABC. Today I walk in during an airing of General Hospital.


Now I haven't watched GH since the Luke and Laura days, but damn. To the best that I could figure out there were two gay guys debating whether they should engage in a 3 some. They must have used the phrase "3 some" like 4 times that I heard in 5 minutes.

This is not my mother's soap opera of yesteryear. I mean common...daytime network television. Is nothing sacred?

I've been watching GH since 1984. But lately, I'm finding more and more of what I see on the show to be just really offensive. For me, the straw that broke the camel's back was when Sonny had sex with Ava in the crypt, right after AJ's funeral - sex with his son's girlfriend, no less! And now Ava is pregnant, and doesn't even know who the father of the baby is - either father or son could be the father of that baby. How NASTY is that?? Come on!! There are other storylines that make me sick, as well. But the Morgan / Pregnant Ava / Sonny triangle just really takes the cake, as far as I'm concerned. I'm at the point of wanting to stop watching the show entirely. I'm just curious if anyone else has actually felt offended by this show, and considered not watching it anymore, for that reason.
