but get some Mississippi St +24 NOW before the line goes down.

Mississippi St has received no credit at all this season. It was said when they played Tennessee that they hadn't played anyone yet, blah, blah, blah and they handled the Vol's with relative ease with the cover. Now they are getting 24 points to Alabama with Bama having LSU on deck?

Alabama is good, very very good. They have a way of going about their business and methodically destroying opponents without ever really impressing you but before you know it there they are covering 21+ points spreads. No doubt they are good but they are NOT 24 points better than Mississippi St, in fact they aren't 20 points better and I'm willing to embarrass myself by saying they aren't even 17 points better in this particular spot.

While we are at it Florida has opened as a 6 point favorite against Georgia. I'm generally wrong but I expect this to be 7 to 7.5 as the week goes on so if you like Florida and are not stupid like me and use a local that only lets you get down gameday then get Florida now while the value is there.

Alabama is just crushing everyone, incredible to watch. They just wear teams down by the second half, just on a whole different level. This game is at Bryant -Denny on national TV and Alabama beat Miss. State at Starkville last year by 17. Alabama may not have the best ats numbers( linesmakers jack these numbers up at Bryant-Denny) but as a team to tease with, you couldnt find a better team in college football. Men among boys. McCarron put up phenomenal stats against the Vols even with a "bruised knee". I just read a stat that Alabama has trailed all of 15 seconds this season. 15 seconds. I love the Florida pick Wal but I think teasing that Alabama number down is safer and Miss. State always disappoints.

Who has Miss St even played? All garbage teams

See? Here is someone who follows the game. People may knock Bama's schedule but compare it to who Miss State has played. Miss State has a good chance to go 0-5 from here on out.

Game 1: Jackson State w 56-9
Game 2: Auburn w 28-10
Game 3: Troy w 30-24
Game 4: South Alabama 30-10
Game 5: Kentucky 27-14
Game 6: Tennessee w 41-31
Game 7: Middle Tennessee 45-3

Troy and Kentucky were away games. All others were at home.

Next 4
At Bama, home for Texas A&M, at LSU, home against Arkansas and at Ole Miss. You really might want to rethink this one, Wally. But then again, I am a homer.

I would think the stumble game would be in two weeks when Texas A&M come to town. This weekend is homecoming so it is pep rally all week on campus. Next week is LSU and nothing more needs to be said about that. But the Aggies are an unknown with a very athletic QB. Coming after LSU...yeah, that game worries me. Not that I am overlooking Miss State. They are much improved.
