I don't think anyone becomes really wealthy by betting on sports. Shit doesn't scale up well.

you can get a lot of money down on major sports on game day. if you can beat these lines and there are plenty of people/groups that do, you are going to be making a lot of money. but those people probably arent on tv touting themselves.
