Got the green light from doctor to drink in Cabo

What's a good vacation drink? I used to like Pina coladas but seems too obvious....

I want something fun and fruity that would normally be very expensive (this is all inclusive and includes top shelf). I want to get (my brother's) money's worth. And I want a vacation vibe.


I don't want to mix a bunch of different liquors so I need a good solid drink. Nothing too sweet. Or I guess I could just stick with beer. What is the best Mexican beer?

I can't think what what a tequila drink is...tequila sunrise? I used to drink tequila shots and/or in Long Islands but can't think what else...Daquaris are tequila right?

On another note..doc said I lost 4 lbs over the holidays. I'm sure that will all be back and then a few on vacation....just by introducing booze into my "diet."

DUH!!! I knew that...Daquari is rum. Wow. I used to be a seasoned drinker too. I really did know that too of course...Yeah...Maybe just stick with Margs and beer...that way if I want to do a shot of tequila won't mess with things too much.

Puck and MM..thank you for your concern, but if I'm going to get my kidney pulled out and beheaded, I will want to be good and liquored up.

The only other time I was in Mexico I couldn't even get off the ship in Puerta Vallarta because I was so hungover from drinking the night before. I said no more drinking on nights before ports of call....this will be a little different since I will mostly be in one place and don't feel the need to "sightsee" per se, but I still really hate being hungover.
