Final week in a competitive league where I might actually do well. Here's the deal:

I'm one game back from the final playoff spot with many more points than the player in front of me, so much that if I win and he loses, I'm in. He is slightly predicted to lose. A couple of people tied with me too and I have many more points than them as well. Pretty much I win and I'm in. The league has a very conservative scoring style so every point counts. I am slightly predicted to win.

Here's what we got:

I have Flynn, Smith and Wilson as QB options. Yes I know pretty weak, my rb's have carried me.

Torn here. Flynn has Detroit today and we all know what happened last time he played them, 480 yards and 6 tds or whatever it was. He also could suck and get benched quickly, GB is playing for their lives. He is slightly projected to produce less than the other two. An injury is actually a thought with all of the smack talk going on.

Smith has been a little above average fantasy wise and who knows what that game will be like at home vs Denver. He's predicted to slightly outproduce the other two.

Wilson is about as predictable as guessing what Plommer is going to post next. In Seattle vs the New Orleans circus, that one could be any kind of game as well especially since it's in Seatlle, Sherman might just punch everyone in the face and it ends in a mutual 0-0 forfeit.

For now I have Flynn in but I am torn. Thoughts?

Flynn. Detroit run defense is good and pass defense sucks. If Green Bay falls behind they will have to toss a lot.

Wilson is risky because Saints run defense sucks and Marshawn Lynch could score all TD's.

Smith is OK but I think Flynn has the more upside.

Another site stated ......

11) Smith
15) Wilson
22) Flynn

Matt Flynn stepped in as the quarterback in Week 12, going 21-36 for 218 yards, 1 TD and 0 INT. Taking on a Lions’ defense that has allowed 276.8 passing yards per game and 21 TD, it’s worthwhile considering using him as a QB2, though he is a risk and no lock to start.

Looks like a coin flip between Wilson and Smith to me. Fok Flynn.

I'm a Smith fan. Depending on how your league deals with INTs, Smith can be good value. The other 2QB league I'm in punishes you hard for INTs, so starting Brady and Smith has been good to me.

Gl's 2 top players this year are against my lean. :fok:

I shouldn't need anyone of them to go nuts to win, and really that's all Flynn offers is the possibility of that happening but if he's a dud it could fuck me.

The move is Smith.

Like Saulty said hope that Lions score alot early and GB must throw all the time! Only thing is if Flynn is horrible McCarthy might just say fuk it and put that Tozian guy in?

Had Case Keenum in for Romo (bye) couple weeks ago and guy gets benched in 3rd Q when coach throws Matt Schaub in there! Never saw it coming!

Bacon buddy, you still have till Sunday to think over if Wilson is it over Smith, just so not to play Flynn today! Remember, those blogs are written by regular guys like you or me! We even have a poster who writes a blog here at GL! :stevie:
