Tough call.

The ignorance of calling someone a Muslim like it's an insult is pretty hilarious to me. It does make me wonder how Obama's policies have been pointedly anti-cowboy though.

Is 1000 years of darkness the opposite of 1000 points of light? If so, I'll take it.

Seems to be as good a place as any to ask, what's our option?

Seriously, what's the best worst option out there? Obama, while not all his fault has done little to nothing to better the situation and in most cases made a bad situation even worse. However that Romney guy comes off as too polished and at the same time like a seasoned slim-ball.

I can't honestly vote for either candidate but taking that route is just as bad as helping elect either. We cant get a representative who encompasses who the goods of both parties. Certainly they exist but you'll never get one elected because the special interest groups that finance (and ultimately control the political puppet strings) these elections won't back an individual who might actually make a difference. Make a difference? Is that even possible anymore? On some small scale probably but when you look at the overall deficit it's unlikely.

We keep saying this nation is ready for a change but we continually recycle the same ol' same. The only change we ever make is going from what current wrong to a previous wrong.

Romney isn't a change, it's reverting back to what was. Obama isn't a change, it's just more of a bad thing.

If MonkeyFocker doesn't hurry up and finance that barge we should all up and move in with Muddy.

I still don't understand why some people hate Obama so much. He's very unremarkable. like the rest of them.

I mean they talk about national debt, or jobs:facepalm: but that can't be it. They despise healthcare reform. but that doesn't make any sense either.

can we ever get any substance from anybody?

I can’t speak for anyone else and really shouldn’t even be allowed to speak for myself Reno but for me at least it’s not hate.

Obama was in many ways destined to fail. He would have had to make some incredible changes for the better in order to succeed. I have a hard time believing he wasn’t elected for reasons other than, “let’s give’m a black leader and prove this once and for all”, let’s vote for him cause he’s black”, “let’s vote for him so I can get what I got’s come’n”, “fok it, they’ll assassinate his ass within a month”.

Obama inherited a bad situation and it would have taken HUGE changes to make it even slightly better. It would appear that neither he nor his advisor’s really knew what to do beyond the campaign promises though so by not making enough, the right or really much of any changes a broken wheel only continued to get worse.

Reno, we are fok’d. Doesn’t really matter if it’s Obama, Romney or anyone we’ve heard from in the past several years, we are and would apparently will remain fok’d.

It would be refreshing to find someone who had a real method for reducing the deficit, stimulating the economy, was willing to back off big government but maintained at least some sort of oversight so things like Enron wouldn’t be possible. Maybe not possible but certainly not as possible and absolutely more punishing if it did occur to those involved. Was not only willing but actually did scale back our involvement in foreign affairs. Be a representative, be an ally but stop being the fok’n “big dog on the block”. Oh and for good measure legalize gambling and even tax it. The tax alone would help offset and restore certain government assistance programs and the depleting Social Security program.

In order to get the guy outlined above in office though he would have to kiss ass and be a “yes man” to the right special interest groups to get the backing he needed where it counts and once elected he would have to turn his back on all of them and risk being assassinated.

Well there is another way but it’s far more unlikely. As a nation we come together and agree on what is most important and what will indeed get our country back on track and unite/vote as one. Obviously this option is the least likely because we can’t get 10 people to agree on 10 issues the same.

I agree with Wally's sentiment. To me big politics has become akin to a boring sporting event with mostly unathletic, uninteresting people that closely filter their public speaking, but are still mostly all criminals. So I'd rather argue over whether. A group of criminals like the ravens sdefense can stop the criminal group of offensive players on the bengals.

Both discussions tend to be a bunch of BS from lited positions of actual experience in the arena and in both situations our viewpoints have zero impact
