Yes Casper, he says the good stuff is healthier for you! Matty, it was a 1.75 bottle!

Oooooh. You bastards get all the good stuff. That'd be like 120 bucks here, if it was available.

:selfbash:

New entry at #8, Knob Creek Rye Whiskey. Absolutely badass. It's bold and spicy without having the massive alcohol burn of the Knob Creek bourbons. Homerun by the fine people at Jim Beam.

:megarock::megarock::megarock:

I also bumped Elijah Craig 12 up a bunch of spots. Great rich flavor at a great price point.

Wild Turkey is my OH OH shot. Like, Oh Oh he's getting a shot of Wild Turkey. Gonna be one of those days.

:lmao:

How did I miss this.

RIP Brudu

I started serving the Knob Creek Rye about 4 months ago and I found it to be spicy without the burn as well.

Even a bit of a sweet back.

I agree Matty, pretty good stuff.

Matty, Woodford Reserve is too tasty to be 9 spots behind Buffalo Trace.

:tictactoe:

I do need to shuffle a number of them around. I would still have Buffalo Trace above WR though.

The latest 2013 JDSB's I tried haven't been as good as the 2011's and 2012's. I'll give it one last chance before I drop it.

Buffalo Trace about as good as anything imo. I wouldnt have Makers Mark that high. JD single barrel is pretty special though
We're thinking of going in on a bottle of Crown Extra Rare. Thats the smoothest whiskey I've had $100 a bottle though.

Just finished this last night. Went very quick. Yum.

Blittser you should try the Uigeadail and Corryvreckan bottlings from Ardbeg.

1oz Ardbeg 10
1oz Macallan Cask Strength
Splash of water

Substitute any heavily sherried malt for the Macallan CS and water.

GODLY FOKKEN DRINK

Still true.

I'll keep an eye out. Are they pricey?

This is becoming an expensive habit.

They're premium Ardbegs, yeah. Here the 10 is 100 bucks while the two I mentioned are around $175. Prolly a lot cheaper in your area.
