Never go to court against AL Davis, the NFL found out the hard way! the guy has good lawyers!

Commitment to Excellence, Just Win Baby, the man was once a football genius! Very sad for me as a long time Raider fan to see how far this team has fallen for the last decade!

This had to make Pete Rozelle sick to hand Al the trophy. Brent sure has gotten old!

They probably like to change the wording on this sign to "please just die" but don't want to get sued!

Raider fans are die hards!

seriously the NFL needs to look into the whole OWNER as a GM idea. the Raiders have it, the Cowboys have it, the Bengals have it.

how is it working out for those teams?

seriously that heyward-bay guy as your # pick over crabtree? c'mon

they get into alot of shit. professional sports leagues in america are as free enterprise as America is.

they look out for #1 survival and viability is a big thing for these leagues.

did you use to wear and Expos hat? what happened to them anyways?

yeah youre right. buying a team thats folding is the same thing as choosing a team's draft picks for them. good say.

who said they should choose a team's draft picks?

The MLB did make a great expo trade though...

Bartolo Colon to the expos under their jurisdiction, for Grady Sizemore, Brandon Phillips, and Cliff Lee

nothing unbalanced or unfair there, right?

i dont get what youre suggesting. that the NFL force teams to make "good" draft picks? that the NFL buy the aforementioned teams?

and how is that awful trade by the MLB-owned that you cited above a good example of what you're suggesting for leagues getting involved with day-to-day team dealings? you really arent making much sense here.

simply suggesting that the NFL NOT allow owners to act as GM's

very simple..

the MLB expo trade was a pretty easy seen conspiracy to relocate talent, after the MLB got control of the expos roster

you weren't really making sense, bringing the NFL into draft pick decisions.

re-read what I posted about the NFL getting involved.

the draft pick decision comment was just a recent example of why a guy like Davis hurts the competitiveness of the NFL.

the NFL is all based on money, as you know. seeing as how the cowboys are the second most financially successful franchise in the world, id say that there is no chance that they change how jerry jones is running that team.
