Too young to remember Wilt's days in Philly! His Laker years come more to mind! Lead the league in assists one year letting his teammates do more of the scoring!
Didn't know bout this until an old time Philly sports writer mentioned a couple rule changes cause of Wilt! Back then on free throws you could jump over the line before the ball touched the rim! Wilt would take a couple strides and take off like Jordan would on one of his legendary dunk! Be more or less a layup!
Also Stan Hochman stated you could inbound the ball from underneath your own basket so teammates would throw the ball directly over the backboard and Wilt would be the only player capable of jumping that high making it relatively easy score!
Heard bout goaltending coming into play cause of Chamberlain but not those 2 rules!
