Did a lot of canning/pickling during Covid

These are a pain to make but by far everyone favourite,pickled silver skin onions.

Make sure the vinegar you used is at least 5%,some of the cheaper house brands and dollar store crap is 4 % or less and are not suitable for pickling. Pickling and canning is a lost art.

Not sure about distribution,I know private vineyards can sell their own product onsite ,not sure if they have to pay for that privilege

Alcohol is government regulated in Canada,to get a privatized liquor store the licenses start around 1.5 million and you need to buy an existing business.

Service,I constantly see requests for people wanting handyman jobs done on FB.If I wasn’t scared of heights and wanted to return to the workforce I would clean gutters and do moss removal,could easily make 500 bucks a day.
