I also like the Shiba Inu breed, I read/watch that they are so docile and get along with everyone, but they are more rare/expensive in the US

I had a Shiba Inu in the late 90’s. They get a long with everyone but they will go toe to toa (paw to paw?) with any dog breed. My Shiba was also difficult to train and was quite mischievous.

Beautiful dog.

I had a German Shepherd but he shed A LOT. I currently have two Bernedoodles (Bernese Mountain Dogs mixed with poodles) because one of my kiddos is allergic to dogs. We haven't had any issues with his allergies. I love Bernese - bit stubborn, but just goofy, friendly dogs.

I don’t mind the shedding. I vacuum at least once a day …

Would really like to see a photo or two of your pups … Interesting combination …

Definitely leaning Burnese at this point …

I’ll try to find a photo of them when they’re not shaved down. I keep their fur short because one doesn’t like to be brushed.
