So these dumb fucks are parroting Internet nonsense to police and all the situations end the same way (busted car window). I could watch this all day.

Tronnay!

Speaking of looney people a British Member of Parliament got stab to death today

The videos end the same way.. but id bet the situations all end the same - with the officers receiving a reprimand and the victims receiving judgement in their favor in a (small) civil suit.

Really? How/why?

Honestly didn't watch in full so don't know the claims. If they're traffic stops (for a legit moving violation) im probably wrong.

But in the case of open carry walks and stops (tons of videos on this) the law enforcement is almost always wrong (though if you search "open carry walk fail" you're sure to find the exception) and screwing up enforceing a state's regulations on the 2nd amendment is a big no-no and usually also a 4th amendment violation.

In NY if the police do much more than expediently issue a citation (which they can do without the operator taking receipt), if they assert any authority to keep the person longer than the person wants, arguing or insinuating the person is NOT free to go without PC they're basically in violation of the state equivalent of the 4th amendment (specifically unlawful seizures - of the person).

If you get pulled over in NY, repeatedly ask the officer if you're free to go. If he says anything other than "yes" once your citation is issued he's probably unlawfully siezed your person.

It's fucked up. These guys have a shit thankless job and an impossible maze of regs to navigate. Most of them (understandably) mess it up a few times in thier career.

I think most of these people get stopped for expired/missing/fake plates. It's part of their anti-government movement.

Is that really a movement? Good if so. If the man has harder time harassing individuals, then they might be less likely to pass more rules that fuck everybody.
:handshake:
Gods work these guys are doing, although it is hard to watch

Love these, too, Matty and I knew reno would side with these tool boxes before reading his post.

When you give someone a lawful order (asking to see their drivers license) after they commit a traffic violation (run a red light or drive 20 mph over the posted speed limit for example) and they refuse to comply with the lawful order, you don’t get reprimanded for enforcing the law. That’s essentially what happened in the first video that Matty posted.

I can’t believe I’m typing this because I’m very confident this will end in a big pissing contest.

 yes I will generally side with the individual opposing the power of the state, as awkward and unflattering as it may appear. Takes a lot of courage.

100% no argument here. Looks like the first video the dude had expired plates.
