Yeah I don't know. Maybe they don't have enough of it. Who knows what all these pricks are doing. I hope they didn't make things worse by taking all these steps to slow curve. Assuming immunity only lasts a few months, (as some are claiming), the slowing of spread could prevent herd immunity being reached. At least one would think.

this guy is exactly right. Sensible fella  No surprise they tried to badmouth and censor him

See. Sweden doesn't have a mink outbreak like Danmark - more proof that quarantines don't work!

Covid-19: Normal life back next winter, says vaccine creator

The impact of a new Covid vaccine will kick in significantly over summer and life should be back to normal by next winter, one of its creators has said.

Prof Ugur Sahin, BioNTech co-founder, also raised hopes the jab could halve transmission of the virus, resulting in a "dramatic reduction in cases".
Last week, BioNTech and co-developers Pfizer said preliminary analysis showed their vaccine could prevent more than 90% of people from getting Covid-19.

About 43,000 people took part in tests.

In an interview on BBC One's Andrew Marr Show, Prof Sahin said he expected further analysis to show the vaccine would reduce transmission between people as well as stop symptoms developing in someone who has had the vaccine.

"I'm very confident that transmission between people will be reduced by such a highly effective vaccine - maybe not 90% but maybe 50% - but we should not forget that even that could result in a dramatic reduction of the pandemic spread," he said.

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia reported a record 22,778 new daily coronavirus cases on Monday as the authorities in Moscow turned to a temporary hospital built inside an ice rink to handle the influx of COVID-19 patients.

Siberia getting fucked as usual

Authorities in the Siberian region of Buryatia, which borders Mongolia, on Monday closed restaurants, shopping malls, bars and public facilities for two weeks in a bid to stem the virus.

The country of about 145 million people has started opening temporary clinics and re-purposing hospitals in the capital and other cities to relieve the strain on its medical system.

In Moscow, the Krylatskoe Ice Palace, known for hosting international speed skating competitions, is now on the frontline after being converted into a temporary hospital for COVID-19 patients. It opened last month.
Though better resourced than other regions, authorities in Moscow are under severe pressure. They reported 6,360 new infections in the Russian capital on Monday.

More than 1,300 hospital beds equipped with oxygen tanks cover the former ice rink’s 400-metre speed skating track, with more than 100 doctors and nurses deployed.

thank god for the mask mandate. Otherwise we might have had 50 billion cases by now

I'm always keeping an eye on this data.
Hospitals are in danger of being overun, We going to red advisory. We even invented a purple advisory now, for when :endoftheworld:
Interesting, % of hospital beds occupied by confirmed AND suspected Covid patients: 17% :hmm:

I wonder how the prostitution market has been affected by this whole thing. Mask worn when taking it hard up the ass or just wing it and bite the pillow?

A lot intricacies there to consider.
