Leaving for my Eastern Caribbean cruise in 12 days like :yeahsure:

Boys, how many deaths are we up to for just your traditional seasonal flu this year?

Your common flu mortality rate is around 0.05 - 0.1 percent. Coronavirus is the real deal with 2 percent. It would be much worse if there was no quarantine as is the case with common flu or the like.

^^ It (Absolute number of deaths) would be much worse though I suspect the rate will be higher too.

Vagabond is drinking that cool aid.

Maybe you should understand comparative stats. Mortality rate of 0.4% for 40-49 years age group is huge compared to common flu which will have negligible mortality for the same age group. Though I would concede that on a forum named hooligans talk, this should not be concerning at all.

My main concern is not even the deaths but the possibility of cancellation of Euro 2020 and Tokyo Olympics.

So comparative stats guy compares global mortality rates by strata for flu to the same strata by country (coronavirus mortality stats are basically just China mortality at this point)... but continue to blow it up and skew that data brah.

Don't blame me. I did not muddy the waters by bringing common flu and 16k deaths in the US into the discussion.

You’ve been traveling a lot tron

What’s your salary and source of income again?

We have been retired for 18 months. Not wealthy by any means but have a nice monthly defined benefit.

I lol’d at “what’s your salary”. Well played, pally. :awesome:

I’ll give you three guesses at what the monthly defined benefit is (after taxes) and I’ll confirm what is closest.

Nice, Tron

4500? lets have a pool. I want the Dickie Moore

Reno is on the board with $4,500.
