how do the producers of a show schedule a performance of a die hard vegetarian and hugh animal rights activist on the same night that they have the Duck Dynasty crew on the show :clueless: ... i could understand it if they didnt know morrissey was vegetarian , but that guy has been all over the news tons of times discussing his feelings on killing animals...etc.

It was done on purpose. They were hoping for a big fight to boost ratings.

As far as the vegetarian/hunter argument..If it wasn't for hunters the wildlife would have eaten all vegetation and vegetarians would starve.

which animals, exactly, are the ones that would eat all the vegetation? cattle and chicken are raised and last i knew, fish cant walk....just curious
 
my wife is a "vegetarian"

I put it in quotes, because we both come from families of lots of big hunters

she is fine with eating meat that has been hunted and killed by our families

its all the other stuff she is against

anywho, being anti hunter is pretty stupid IMO, unless we are talking hunting elephants for tusks or endangered species

Where do you think the vegetables are grown? How about the crops? Can you imagine billions of deer being able to reproduce freely without being controlled by hunters? They would devastate the crops. Most farmers hire hunters to keep the deer population away from their farms. And this is just one animal. There are rabbits too. I lost my green beans last year in my garden to a rabbit. I guess he liked the pellets of my air gun in his brains once I caught him in action.

We are it nomadic. We are not hunters nor are we gatherers. We live in a world with purdue chickn breast packs and Walmart. No need to hunt.

I enjoy venison, but it can be raised like cattle, not shot in the wild.
 
yeah, deer are what i assume would be the biggest enemies... building better fences around farms would clear a lot of that up though... pricey, yes... and rabbits/coons other varmints.... eat all the vegetation, no... but i agree without control there would be issues...

around here the deer are killed for drivers safety as much as for population control... crazy how those fuckers multiply

morrissey is one strange cat... after watching him somewhere a few years ago, i would have bet my life he was a die hard vegan...until i saw him with a leather jacket and leather boots :lol:

So you would rather have deer in cramped compartments eating engineered feed and then have the slaughterhouse shoot them in the head and sell the meat at Walmart? Isn't this worse than hunting deer in the wild?
 
its not about eating or convenience Cali

its about over population of species, taking deer for instance

a) they eat and defile farmland
b) they kill a few hundred humans a year via accidents and hurt thousands and cause millions of dollars of damage every year
c) in over populated areas, they literally die from malnutrition. There are only so many twigs and berries to go around. (I know you hear me on that one)

I live in PA. I am glad people hunt. There are too many dear. Do you know why we hunt dear? because they are not raised like cattle. If we could buy dear in the store, chances are we wouldn't hunt them as much. People hunt squirrel and wild turkey too. I see nothing wrong with it. Just because the world has evolved and farmers are abundant, doesn't mean we have to let go of our natural instinct to hunt and gather and provide how we chose or see fit for our families. Humans are the superior species, I do not want to pollute the world or cause so much waste that any animal becomes extinct, as they are all part of the food chain. That's what it all really comes down to, is the food chain. It is how it is for a reason. So we ruin a little of the animals vegetation, because we are the humans, we run and control the world and the environments. not the other way around. I am all for animals and their rights, but I also respect the food chain, I also know for a fact we would be over populated with dear if people didn't hunt and that would be a problem. However we don't want to extinct them, so hence why you are only allowed to kill so many, and only during a certain span of time, it's not like we have a free for all.
